As the Executive Director of the Child Advocacy Center in Fayetteville, NC I have the privilege of interacting with a lot of great folks from around this community as I go around sharing about the great work completed daily at the Child Advocacy Center. Courtney Embree and the management and staff at our local Subaru dealer, Cross Creek Subaru, continue to set the bar high and the heart they have for the children we serve is amazing! We recently received a very nice check from the "Share the Love" campaign and we are so appreciative and thankful, not only for the funding, but also for the relationship that has been built between the Child Advocacy Center and Cross Creek Subaru! It is our hope that this relationship will continue to be strong and that, together, we all continue to raise awareness of child abuse in our communities and do everything we can to "Be their voice." Many thanks to Cross Creek Subaru -- you folks are awesome! John Webster Child Advocacy Center, Inc.

Paws of the Pines Rescue partnered with Cross Creek Subaru in 2026 through the Subaru Love Promise, Subaru Loves Pets! As a foster based rescue serving the surrounding communities, every donation we receive, every adoption event we attend, and every ounce of support we receive helps us continue to save lives of homeless animals in our community. Through our partnership, Cross Creek Subaru has helped promote our efforts to those who may otherwise not have heard of us. Their support has helped us find new volunteers, new supporters, new fosters, and new homes for our animals. Rescue work is filled with many unexpected outcomes, whether its veterinary expenses, emergency cases, and the overall daily surprise that comes with working with so many animals. Having a community partner that believes in our mission and recognizes our efforts is so incredible. Together, we are building a compassionate community that wants to help animals find loving homes. We are so proud and excited to be partnered with Cross Creek Subaru. We are thankful for their continued commitment with helping pets and the people who love them. Together, we are connecting the pieces for our animals to get the best of everything that they deserve.

Dear Cross Creek Subaru Team, At the Rick Herrema Foundation, every act of support becomes part of something bigger than a donation it becomes part of a legacy. Thanks to your generous $500 sponsorship, we were able to help make our recent Ninja Warrior community event possible, creating an unforgettable experience for military families, veterans, active-duty service members, and children throughout our community. Your contribution helped us provide an event filled with unity, laughter, resilience, and connection a place where military families could come together, challenge themselves, and simply enjoy moments that many of them rarely get the opportunity to experience. Seeing the smiles, teamwork, and excitement throughout the event reminded us why building a stronger military community matters so deeply. In addition to the event impact, the two donated sycamore trees now have a permanent home beside the lake at our foundation property. These trees will continue to grow for many years to come, standing as a living tribute to Rick Herrema and the values he believed in: service, family, strength, and community. To us, these are more than just trees. They are seeds of our legacy a symbol of growth, remembrance, and hope for future generations. Families, children, veterans, and visitors will one day sit beside them, reflect beneath their shade, and remember the mission and heart behind RHF. As the trees grow taller each year, so will the impact of the foundation and the community that continues to support it. We are incredibly grateful to Cross Creek Subaru for believing in our mission and helping us continue creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories for the military community we proudly serve. Thank you for being a part of the RHF family and helping us plant something that will live on for generations.
Jennifer S.
As a longtime Cross Creek Subaru customer, I have always appreciated how much they care about our community, but the Subaru Loves the Earth tree giveaway made that appreciation even deeper for my family. Receiving American sycamore trees at no cost was such a blessing, especially knowing the positive impact they will have on our home and environment for years to come. What made the experience truly special was getting to plant the trees together with my daughter. She was so excited to help dig, place the trees in the ground, and water them. Watching her enjoy the process and take pride in helping our yard grow greener turned something simple into a memory we will always cherish together. These trees are going to provide much-needed shade for our front yard and additional privacy for our home as they grow. It feels wonderful knowing that our family is also helping contribute to making Cumberland County greener and more beautiful for future generations. I am incredibly grateful to Cross Creek Subaru for hosting events like this and for continuing to give back to the community in meaningful ways. It reminded me that Cross Creek Subaru is truly more than a dealership — they genuinely care about the families and communities they serve. 💚

When Mr. Sullivan noticed a slow leak in one of the tires on his Subaru Outback, he knew he needed to have it checked before heading out of town. He stopped by a local tire shop, but unfortunately they were unable to assist because the vehicle had wheel locks and did not have the master wheel lock key needed to remove the tire. With little time to spare before his trip, he filled the tire with air, parked the Outback at the airport, and hoped he could deal with the issue once he returned home. Before leaving, Mr. Sullivan reached out to Dave, Cross Creek Subaru's GSM, to explain the situation. Knowing how stressful it can be to travel while worrying about a vehicle issue back home, Dave immediately stepped in to help. Rather than allowing him to return from his trip to another problem waiting for him, Dave offered to personally retrieve the Outback from the airport, coordinate the repair, and return the vehicle before he landed back home. Mrs. Sullivan brought the keys to the dealership, and from there Dave and Hailey jumped into action. Together, they coordinated every detail of the process from start to finish. The team traveled to the airport, located the Outback in the parking lot, brought it back to Cross Creek Subaru for repair, and ensured the tire issue was fully taken care of. Once the repair was completed, Dave and Hailey returned the Outback to the airport parking lot and even placed it back in the exact same parking spot where it had originally been parked. What could have been a stressful and frustrating inconvenience became a seamless, thoughtful experience that allowed Brian to enjoy his trip without worrying about his vehicle. When Mr. Sullivan returned home and discovered what the Cross Creek Subaru team had done for him, he was truly amazed. The level of care, effort, and personal attention shown by Dave and Hailey went far beyond what anyone would expect from a regular dealership. It was not simply about repairing a tire — it was about genuinely caring for a customer and making life easier during a stressful moment. Moments like this are what define the Subaru Love Promise at Cross Creek Subaru. Going above and beyond for customers is not treated as an exception — it is part of the culture and heart of the dealership. Through the compassion, teamwork, and dedication shown by Dave and Hailey, Mr. Sullivan experienced firsthand that Cross Creek Subaru is more than a place to buy or service a vehicle. It is a family, and after this experience, Mr. Sullivan knows he will forever be part of the Cross Creek Subaru family.

Our Subaru Cross Creek Cares Event was such an awesome event this year! We focused on large families in our community, and the ones that came were so grateful. In these families, there was a family that had a set of teenage daughters, and to hear about these two girls who are working toward a great future was wonderful. Through this program, we watched them not only help their siblings find a pair of shoes, but they also got to find shoes for themselves. The joy in their faces was priceless. My only regret was not getting the ending picture, but the beginning. We wouldn't be surprised to see these girls as future leaders someday!

At Cross Creek Subaru, caring for our community means showing up in ways that truly make a difference—and our first pet adoption event of the 2026 year with Paws of the Pines Rescue was a perfect example of that in action. From the moment the event began, it was clear just how special this partnership is. The team at Paws of the Pines brought not only adorable dogs and puppies ready for adoption, but also an incredible level of compassion, dedication, and heart. Every animal in their care is treated with love, patience, and respect, and it truly shows in the way they connect each pet with the right family. Throughout the day, we were overjoyed to see several dogs and puppies find their forever homes. Watching those moments unfold—tails wagging, families smiling, and new bonds forming—was nothing short of unforgettable. It's those connections that remind us why we do what we do. Being able to collaborate with an organization like Paws of the Pines is incredibly rewarding. Their mission, their passion, and their commitment to giving every animal a second chance align perfectly with the Subaru Love Promise. Together, we were able to create a space where lives were changed—not just for the animals, but for the families who welcomed them home. I am so grateful to be part of Cross Creek Subaru, a place that truly invests in its community by providing the time, resources, and support needed to uplift local nonprofits. Events like this are more than just a day—they are a reflection of what can happen when people come together with kindness and purpose. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Paws of the Pines and helping even more animals find the loving homes they deserve.

Being part of our Subaru Loves to Help® event with the Salvation Army was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had at Cross Creek Subaru. Getting to work directly with families and their children—helping them pick out and take home brand new socks and shoes—was something truly special. From the moment each child sat down, it became more than just handing out items. We were measuring little feet, finding the perfect fit, and sharing in their excitement as they slipped into brand new shoes for the first time. The best part? Seeing their reactions. The high-fives, the little jumps, and the quick sprints to "test them out" made the entire day unforgettable. It was so much fun talking with each child, connecting with families, and being part of those genuine, joyful moments. This event was such a great example of what happens when organizations come together for a common purpose. The partnership between Cross Creek Subaru and the Salvation Army made everything run smoothly and ensured that every child who attended left with new socks, new shoes, and a big smile. I'm so grateful to have been part of a team that put so much time, care, and effort into making this event happen. It was incredibly well organized, full of heart, and a true reflection of the Subaru Love Promise in action. Seeing the impact firsthand—families supported, kids smiling, and our community coming together—was something I won't forget anytime soon.

At Cross Creek Subaru, our commitment to the community goes far beyond the showroom—and our recent blood drive with the American Red Cross was a meaningful reflection of that promise in action. We were truly honored to host the American Red Cross right here at our dealership, providing a convenient and welcoming space for members of our community to come together and give back in a life-saving way. Throughout the day, we saw an incredible turnout of donors—both familiar faces and first-time participants—who generously took time out of their day to help others they may never meet. There's something incredibly powerful about seeing a community rally around a shared purpose. Each donation represents hope, healing, and a second chance for someone in need. Being able to play even a small role in facilitating that impact is something we are deeply proud of. Events like this are what the Subaru Love Promise is all about—caring for others, supporting our neighbors, and making a difference where it matters most. We are grateful for our partnership with the American Red Cross and for every individual who showed up to donate, volunteer, or support the event. Cross Creek Subaru looks forward to continuing to host blood drives right here at our retailer!

Thank you, Cross Creek Subaru, for your incredible generosity and continued partnership with Warrenwood Elementary School. Because of your support through the Subaru Loves Learning initiative, our teachers were able to equip their classrooms with essential resources that truly made a difference. From literacy materials to organizational supplies, your donation helped create warm, engaging learning environments where students walked in each morning feeling welcomed, seen, and excited to learn. The impact was immediate. Students were energized by the new materials, teachers felt supported in meeting instructional needs, and classrooms transformed into inviting spaces that inspire curiosity, confidence, and joy. Your investment not only strengthened our instructional efforts, but it reinforced to our scholars that our community believes in their potential and their dreams. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to education and for choosing to uplift Warrenwood Elementary. Partnerships like this help us build brighter futures, one classroom, one student, and one meaningful act of kindness at a time. Thank you for helping us make a lasting difference. Thank you so much for your continued support and for inviting us to share how the Subaru Loves Pets® Program has impacted TARA Rescue this year. We are honored to be part of your Subaru family. Your partnership has made a genuine and measurable difference in the lives of some of our most vulnerable animals and in the lives of pets who never even entered our program. This year, your support changed everything. One of our most memorable “Underdog” stories is Twinkie, a five-month-old puppy picked up as a stray after causing a motorcycle accident. When we pulled her from the shelter, we didn’t realize she was injured. Her wounds weren’t from the accident—they were at least a month old and located exactly where they would keep her in constant pain without ever truly healing. Despite that, Twinkie remained joyful, playful, and determined to enjoy life. After talking with our vets, we made the difficult but compassionate decision to amputate her leg to give her a pain-free future. Subaru’s grant covered her $1,000 surgery and aftercare, allowing us to give her the treatment she desperately needed. Today, Twinkie is adopted, adored, and thriving with her new family and her big canine sister. Your support also allowed us to save an entire litter we call “The Potion Puppies.” These five eight-week-old pups were abandoned in a cardboard box near a lake—an area known for wild dog packs and coyotes. Without Subaru’s grant, taking on five unexpected, high-risk puppies would have stretched our small foster-based rescue past its limits. Because of you, we were able to provide full medical care, vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter surgeries, and safe, loving foster placements. Even better: four of the five Potion Puppies were adopted at our Subaru adoption event. Seeing those once-abandoned babies go home with their new families was nothing short of incredible. Over a dozen animals found homes at that adoption event including a senior Great Dane mix. In all, 65 animals were adopted during the month of October including a blind cat named Helen. Your generosity also reached beyond our adoptable animals. Thanks to the Subaru food donation drive, we were able to provide dog and cat food to several community members facing financial hardship. This support helped keep beloved pets in their homes and prevented surrenders due to economic strain. For many families, that food meant stability, dignity, and one less heartbreak during a difficult time. And then there are the quieter emergencies—like Buster. Already in our program, he was bitten by a snake while in foster care and needed urgent medical treatment. Soon after, he developed “happy tail,” which required partial amputation to prevent further injury. Grants like Subaru Loves Pets® allow us to cover these unexpected expenses without passing the cost on to adopters or turning away animals who need us most. As a small foster-based rescue, we rely entirely on adoption fees and donations. We keep those fees as low as possible so families can afford to adopt, even though many cases, like Twinkie, Buster, and the Potion Puppies, cost far more than we ever recover. Programs like Subaru Loves Pets® make it possible for us to keep saying “yes” to the animals who don’t have anywhere else to go. Cross Creek Subaru has helped us save lives, heal the hurt ones, support struggling families, and give countless pets a second chance. We are deeply grateful for your partnership and everything you do for our rescue and our community. With heartfelt thanks, Becky Sasala Executive Director TARA Rescue
Warrenwood E.
At Warrenwood Elementary, we are deeply grateful for the support received through the Subaru Loves Learning initiative. Thanks to Cross Creek Subaru, ten of our classrooms received essential supply boxes and $500 in financial support — resources that immediately strengthened our learning environment. Our teachers shared heartfelt appreciation. One wrote, “Thank you so much for your generous donation! It is because of people like you that educators like me don’t always have to spend money out of our own pocket. This money will be used to pour back into the students at Warrenwood Elementary School. Again, thank you for your generous donation. It is truly appreciated.” Another teacher expressed how the donation helps students engage in hands-on math, ELA, and science lessons, ensuring every child has what they need to grow and succeed. Cross Creek Subaru’s generosity lightened the load for our educators and brought meaningful support directly to our students. As a school, we sincerely thank Subaru for investing in our classrooms and helping us create a place where every student can thrive.

Spending the day at The Salvation Army to help children in our local community receive new socks and shoes was nothing short of inspiring. Cross Creek Subaru showed up in full force—over 15 enthusiastic volunteers ready to make a difference, one child at a time. The event was beautifully organized with stations set up to welcome families, measure little feet, and help each child pick out their brand-new socks and shoes. Watching their faces light up as they received something so essential—and often overlooked—was incredibly moving. These weren’t just shoes; they were confidence, comfort, and care wrapped into a simple act of kindness. Lunch was provided for families and volunteers, giving everyone a chance to come together, share conversations, and truly feel the heart of our Fayetteville community. The teamwork between Cross Creek Subaru and The Salvation Army made the day flow with warmth, joy, and a shared commitment to supporting those who need it most. It was a meaningful reminder of what the Subaru Love Promise is all about—showing up, giving back, and lifting our community together. I’m grateful to have been part of such an impactful and joy-filled event.

Partnering with Cross Creek Subaru to volunteer at the Ruck Herrema Foundation (RHF) event was truly an incredible experience. Cross Creek Subaru stood out as the only car dealership giving back to the military community that day, and that level of dedication genuinely impressed me. Having been involved in the military community for years, it meant so much to work alongside a team that shares the same passion for service. The Cross Creek Subaru volunteers jumped right in—helping the RHF team run the obstacle course, cheering on participants, and bringing contagious energy that kept contenders excited and motivated. It was a day filled with community, connection, and fun. More importantly, it was a day that brought the military community together through an uplifting, family-friendly sporting event. I’m grateful to have been part of such a meaningful partnership, and I look forward to supporting more events like this with Cross Creek Subaru in the future.

I wanted to take a few minutes of your time to thank you for having such an AMAZING employee name, Savanna Nelson. I've haven't met her personally, but I've had the opportunity to speak with her numerous times concerning my son's car. My son, Jairus McKinley, was recently in a car accident. His father and I are several miles away and I'm trying to help him navigate adulthood and this process. This is very new to Jairus, and we didn't need him to become discouraged and lose focus. Thankfully, every interaction with Savanna Nelson has been extremely kind and supportive. She's followed up unlike a lot of other people we encounter in this world. She's professional, respectful, detailed, understanding and patient. I just can't imagine trying to do this without Savanna's assistance. My son echoes the same sentiment. I certainly don't mean to take up your entire day with an email, but I requested your contacts so that you know how GRATEFUL we are for Savanna Nelson and her impeccable customer service skills. Please let Savanna know how much our family from Arkansas appreciates her.

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Fayetteville, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Cross Creek Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Cross Creek Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 02/16/2025, Cross Creek Subaru donated 120 shoes/socks to The Salvation Army of the Sandhills. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

The Child Advocacy Center has been serving abused children in the Cumberland County area for over 32 years in an effort to be a place of healing and hope for the children and families we serve. Last year the center received referrals involving 772 children who had potentially been abused in one way or another. We offer forensic interview and victim advocacy services for our clients as well as therapy. The CAC is also out in the community raising awareness and educating the public regarding the plight of many of our children who suffer at the hands of those who should love and care for them the most. As a non-profit, it is always nice to have a "trusted friend" to help with our mission. Cross Creek Subaru in Fayetteville certainly came thru this year with a phenomenal donation! Working with Courtney Hembree has been an absolute pleasure. Cross Creek has also gone above and beyond by talking up the work of the CAC to it's customers and employees. From helping with a float in the Christmas parade to raising almost $35000 for the CAC, our friends at Cross Creek Subaru are phenomenal and they are truly making a difference in their local community! Thanks Cross Creek Subaru from the Child Advocacy Center team!

The American Red Cross mobile collections of Wilmington, NC was honored to be at the Cross Creek Subaru of Fayetteville, NC today! These contributions helped our organization, because we were able to collect 22 units of whole blood. Very much appreciated because we left with more than we came with! Each donor that came in was very kind, and showed Red Cross tons of love! Courtney from the Cross Creek of Subaru is a very genuine, welcoming person and was a great sponsor! We had many donors that also came in to donate but was unable to do, but we always reassure those guys, “you made the first step, by trying” to make a lifesaving donation that could potentially save you or a loved one! Each of our staff from American Red Cross team want to send a Thank You to everyone and the Subaru of America! -Azia, Kevin, Trevor, Scarlett

The Rick Herrema Foundation (501c3) is proud to recognize the incredible support provided by Cross Creek Subaru during our Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course event in Fayetteville, NC. Their contribution played a key role in creating a meaningful, high-energy experience for military families across the Fayetteville community. This event was designed not only for fun and fitness but also as a tool for reintegration to help service members and their families reconnect, build trust, and strengthen bonds after time apart. Thanks to the involvement of community partners like Cross Creek Subaru, we offered two weekends full of joy, encouragement, and shared achievement free of charge to our Military community. What made their support truly stand out was the way their staff showed up, not just as volunteers, but as active participants. Team members from Cross Creek Subaru ran the courses alongside families, cheered them on, and brought warmth and energy that elevated the entire event. Their willingness to go the extra mile helped create a welcoming, inclusive environment where families felt truly supported. Their dedication exemplifies what it means to serve not only customers but the community. At Cross Creek Subaru, we’re always ready to step up and support our communities, especially in times of crisis. This commitment is at the heart of the Subaru Love Promise®. When Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated the Eastern region, Subaru retailers like us immediately sprang into action. Alongside other Subaru retailers, Subaru of America, and local organizations, we assessed the most urgent needs in the affected areas. It quickly became clear that local food banks were struggling to keep up with the surge in demand as they worked to support people hit hardest by the storms. In response, we teamed up with 67 Subaru retailers across the region to launch a $400,000 match campaign to aid the hurricane relief efforts of Feeding America®. Cross Creek Subaru proudly contributed $5000 to this initiative. While the immediate impact of the storms fades from the headlines, many of our neighbors continue to face long-term challenges like food insecurity, water shortages, power outages, and limited access to essential services. Thanks to the collective generosity of Subaru retailers and the communities we serve, an additional $18,427 was raised. This brings the total impact to $418,427, or over 4,100,000 meals for those in need. "As one of the nation's largest disaster relief organizations, the Feeding America network of food banks and partner agencies is deeply rooted in communities across the country. Together, our partnership with trusted Subaru dealers has helped expedite emergency food assistance and supplies to people who need it most. We are immensely grateful," said Feeding America Chief Development Officer Casey Marsh.

This marks our 8th year of partnering with Cross Creek Subaru, and thier continued dedication makes a real difference. At our recent event we were thrilled to find homes for over 30 animals including 15 dogs, several of whom were #underdogs (senior or special needs animals). Thier commitment to the community shines through beyond this one event to include a food drive to support one of our state's most economically challenged shelters. We are grateful for thier support and can't wait to join forces again next year!

On behalf of Warrenwood Elementary School, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous adoption of 10 of our dedicated teachers. Your unexpected support has brought immense joy to our educators, and the $500 gift to each teacher will have a significant impact on their ability to create dynamic and enriching learning environments for our students. As you may know, teachers often invest their own resources to bring their classroom visions to life, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive. Your thoughtful contribution not only eases this burden but also directly supports our mission to provide a safe, supportive, and challenging environment for all. We are incredibly fortunate to have partners like Cross Creek Subaru who are committed to giving back to the community. Your support will help our teachers meet their students' goals and enhance the educational experience at Warrenwood Elementary. Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity. We are grateful for your partnership and look forward to the continued success of our shared efforts in making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

On Tuesday, June 25th, 2024, Cross Creek Subaru had the opportunity to deliver 80 blankets to Cape Fear Valley Health as part of the Subaru Loves to Care program. These gifts were warmly received by the staff and patients, with staff showing their excitement as they know how much these gifts of love and support are appreciated. It was a wonderful day and heartfelt thanks to Cross Creek Subaru in Fayetteville for joining the LLS mission to create a world without blood cancer.

The Child Advocacy Center is so thankful for the financial support we receive from our friends at Cross Creek Subaru from the Share the Love Campaign. The impact it has on our families is amazing allowing us to provide tangible resources to the children and caregivers that come to the Center. Because of your support of our work we are able to receive comments such as these from those that come to us for help. "It is a wonderful place for abused children to go. Everyone is patient and kind." "Thank you for the many resources shared with us." "I feel much better since we visited the Center and talked with the forensic interviewer and our Victim Advocate." "My children received a bag of goodies and a blanket that they love. Thank you for your kindness and for being there for children." The 17-mile racecourse, which started and ended at the Wade Community Fire Department, offered race lengths ranging from 24 to 85 miles. Over two days, 217 racers participated, with 131 in the Road Race and 85 in the Time Trial. Notably, several former servicemembers who had sustained injuries while on duty took part in the para-cycling categories, highlighting the region's cycling talent and commitment.

At the Fayetteville Beautiful Community-Wide Cleanup Event today, our Cross Creek Subaru team took part in a hands-on effort to clean the streets of North McPherson Church Rd. It was indeed a fulfilling experience! Local establishments such as the Sweet Tooth Shop extended their gratitude for our initiative by offering us cupcakes and beverages. We are genuinely touched by this gesture. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Hailey, Kaleb, David, and Hannah for their involvement!

A big shout-out to Cross Creek Subaru for showing up and showering our rescue dogs with love at the Easter Egg Hunt/Pet Adoption event hosted by Zoomies Funny Farm and Pine Forest Recreation Center. We were over the moon to have gotten such amazing support from Cross Creek Subaru, who never fail to go the extra mile for our furry friends in need of a home.

Over the past year, Cross Creek Subaru has hosted Food Truck Friday, an event where local food trucks serve lunch to our staff and customers. This initiative supports local businesses in the Fayetteville community. We’ve hosted over 20 different trucks, some of which have visited us multiple times. This month marks the first anniversary of our commitment to local businesses!

Cross Creek Subaru teamed up with Operation Warm to provide warm coats for kids in need. Children in The Salvation Army of the Sandhills Community Center and at the Pathway of Hope Emergency Shelter received the gift of a beautiful, cozy coat, just before temperatures dropped here in the Fayetteville area. For families that are low income or currently living at our shelter, providing a coat for their children means more than you can imagine. Thank you so much for all that you do!

Cross Creek Subaru and Child Advocacy Center had an amazing time at the 2023 Fayetteville Rotary Christmas Parade. We proudly displayed a Subaru Outback adorned with festive Christmas decorations! It was such a joyous event filled with holiday cheer and community spirit.

The volunteers of Tilted Acres Rescue and Adoptions (TARA) cannot express how grateful that we are to Cross Creek Subaru and the to the entire Subaru organization for what they do for the community. On October 21st, 2023 we were excited to bring our dogs and cats out to the dealership for the seventh year and work with them to find homes for at least 15 animals. This year has been a hard one for shelters and rescues and what Subaru and its employees to for us is priceless. A special thank you to Hannah who put hours into making our event so successful. We are all already making plans and looking forward to next year. #SubaruLovesPets #MakeADogsDay

Sam, Hannah, and the wonderful staff at Cross Creek Subaru have impacted the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra two years in a row. We're so thankful for them and the impact they have on local non profit organizations. Because of their support, we're able to provide educational opportunities for youth to grow in their musicianship, free community concerts without cost being a barrier, guest artists coming to our community, and more!

Thank you to Cross Creek Subaru for supporting my Eagle Scout project with the Cumberland County Animal Shelter. Subaru made a financial donation and came out to help me and other volunteers from Scout Troop 40 with this project. The project consisted of making dog bags for the shelter to use with the large dogs in their Dog Day Out program. The main purpose is to help the dogs socialize so they have a better chance to get adopted. As a result of Subaru's help we were able to make 50 bags with spare items for the continuation of the project. Thank you again for all the help and support, we couldn't do what we do without you!

Last June, Cross Creek Subaru hosted the American Red Cross Blood Drive Bus on their lot. We were able to collect 21 units which exceeded the goal of 18. We are very happy to see how the crew of Cross Creek Subaru and the Fayetteville community all came together to support our cause. Now, all the donated units were distributed to those in need! Thank you Cross Creek Subaru!

Thank you so much to the team at Cross Creek Subaru for thinking of our Cape Fear Valley Health cancer patients again this year. Through a partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society®, their team donated 80 blankets, care packages and handwritten notes for our cancer patients. These items will bring comfort to many of our patients receiving treatment and staying in the hospital. Thank you for your continued support!

On behalf of the Child Advocacy Center in Fayetteville, I would like to extend our greatest appreciation to the staff at Cross Creek Subaru for going the extra mile during this past year to raise funds for our Center during the Subaru Share the Love® Event! The donation from this event will have a significant impact on the Child Advocacy Center in being able to continue our mission of collaborating with community partners to respond and prevent child abuse. We are forever thankful for this campaign and partnership, and we will continue to provide hope and healing to many children and their families. When a child was recently asked about their visit to the CAC, they stated, “It was a place that finally made me feel safe.” Thank you for helping to contribute that feeling of safety to our community’s most vulnerable population: our kids. Again, thank you for selecting us to be part of your Cross Creek Subaru Family! Jasie Landeros, Executive Director

This morning, four representatives from the local Subaru dealership donated their time and efforts to feed breakfast to some in our community who are homeless or otherwise disadvantaged. The love and enthusiasm that they brought with them was infectious as they served with a smile. We at Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch want to thank Hannah, Emily, Spencer, and Nina (not pictured) of Cross Creek Subaru for making today what it was.
Barbara S.
Thank you to Cross Creek Subaru for donating socks for our homeless Family. We never have enough socks! We are grateful for our partnership with Subaru as we work together to serve 'the least of these' of Fayetteville! Craig Morrison, Executive Director, gratefully accepts this donation from the Cross Creek team.

Had a wonderful experience with Emily. The process was incredibly simple and stress free. We ordered a vehicle, and it came sooner than expected. This was honestly the best and easiest experience I’ve ever had buying a car. Everyone was transparent about prices and didn’t try and nickel and dime or play any tricks. Would recommend a million times over.
Sara K.
I took my car here for an oil change and an oil plug replacement. I did the service express in a reasonable amount of time. And the staff was lovely. I had a lady named Maggie help me, who was phenomenal and was one of the most genuine customer service representatives I’ve met in a while. Would definitely recommend servicing your car here.
Benjamin H.
The dealership associates are always friendly and helpful. The team working the service center are knowledgeable and care about their customers (and the cars). The sales associates are transparent and ready to educate and make conversation about the cars. The prices are still what you would expect from a dealership (service and sales), but significantly more realistic and fairer compared to nearly every other brand. A+
Moises G.
This place is a gem in Fayetteville! The customer service was simply phenomenal. The rep Mrs. Maclovia really made me feel at home. She guided me through the process from start to finish and welcomed me in like family. This is definitely the place I’ll be getting my Subaru finished.
Mark P.
Cross Creek Subaru is my dealer of choice. Sam Johnson is a great guy who is lucky to have a fantastic team. Jay Barr is the Service Manager. His leadership is evident with the quality of dependable service you receive here. From check in to finish, his team is on their game. Rhonda checked me in today. What an efficient & pleasant lady. You won’t be disappointed with this dealership. I’ve purchased four Subarus from Sam Johnson and when I need another one, I’ll be back. Keep up the great work!
Pauli L.
Easy to work with. Very responsive sales consultant. Love Emily. Finance staff very accommodating explaining different policies and procedures. Thanks Cory, made everything work as well as management. Staff was efficient, friendly and accommodating. Thanks Jason. Plus the tv in the guest area had HGTV!

Today, I took my wife's SUV to change its tires. From the beginning everyone provided assistance with professionalism and great attitude. The service manager Mr. Jay was very attentive. He listened to my needs and offered me the best tires for a good price! Also, a big shout to Mr. Miguel Cruz from the service department, he is very knowledgeable, informative and professional. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone. They care about their customers!
Paul K.
I bought my second vehicle from this dealership and the service was just as exemplary as my first purchase. The General Sales Manager, John, was fast and efficient doing my financing and my salesman, Nick Garza, was very patient with all my questions and concerns. I’ve never been treated with the respect and care like I have from Cross Creek Subaru.
Hannah-Grace B.
Overall experience at Cross Creek Subaru has been exceptional! Bought my dream car, a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek certified used, in 2021. The sales crew was welcoming and understanding. Processing paperwork went smoothly and in record time. I rolled off the lot gleefully. Every routine service since has been worth every penny. I feel like I drive home in a new car all over again. The service crew works seamlessly. Maclovia Carrillo has been very helpful during my previous visits. Mechanically my car is sound. I just heavy handily broke my gas lever. Thankfully the part was covered under warranty. Take advantage of Cross Creek Subaru's excellent customer service and long-lasting vehicles. Your peace of mind will be well worth it!

Cross Creek Subaru signed up to be a 2022 Toys for Tots Drop Off Location. They collected toys all month of November. The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. Cross Creek Subaru was about to collect over 100 new, unwrapped Toys for Tots! We are thankful for the customers and staff of Cross Creek Subaru for helping those less fortunate! Merry Christmas!
Barbara S.
A big thank you to Cross Creek Subaru! They collected blankets, scarves and other winter clothing for the Inasmuch Family throughout November for their Subaru Loves to Help Partnership program. With so much gratitude, Barbara accepted the donation from Olivia Hirstein, their Social Media Specialist!

Even before the day that I was supposed to drop my car off, Cross Creek Subaru was magnificent! Everything was taken care of. From the car rental picking me up, to the courteous people that I was in contact with. Even my car was supposed to be ready two days later, but it was finished two days earlier and the process and picking my car up in the ease and the delightfulness of the customer service was awesome. I pray I never have to get in an accident where I must go, but if I did have to go, Cross Creek Subaru would be my number one pick. God bless y'all. Thank y'all for what y'all do!
Edina A.
That was my best car buying experience ever and I had bought many cars in my long life! I felt I could trust Emily the minute I met her. Other car companies need to learn from Subaru Cross Creek! It was fast, easy, friendly, professional and wonderful staff all around! Thank you all at Cross Creek Subaru!!! I will send many to you in the future. Keep up great work!
Jesse H.
Great people in the service department!! Everyone was so respectful and open about my car. Told me what I needed, what they suggested and what I didn’t need even when I said I did. Could have easily taken my money but said it wasn’t needed unless I was dead set. Really appreciate the open and honesty of this dealership!!

On October 22, 2022, thirty dogs and a handful of cats with Tilted Acres Rescue and Adoptions (TARA) arrived at Cross Creek Subaru in Fayetteville, North Carolina with their foster parents and all the equipment needed to hold the most amazing adoption event on the dealership showroom floor. There was a DJ with the local radio station that set up a tent. The General Manager, Sam Johnson, Jr. and General Sales Manager, John Mchann, Sr. had set up a barbeque pit and were cooking hotdogs for everyone. Olivia Potteiger kept everything organized and made everyone there feel welcomed (we understand she was paid in puppy kisses.) The adoptive families and their new pets loved the toys and Barkboxes that Olivia arranged to send home with them. This was the sixth annual Subaru Loves Pets Adoption Event partnering Cross Creek Subaru and TARA. A lot of work goes into this event and all during the month of October the dealership and the rescue prepared for this. We can not thank everyone at Cross Creek Subaru enough for their caring and thoughtfulness in making this happen. At the end of the day, 18 dogs and two cats found amazing homes but it did not end there. By the end of October three more dogs and one cat were adopted directly resulting from the event. There were three very special adoption that came from this event: Reba, who had to have a leg amputated, Cinnamon, who was an overweight senior dog, and Goose, an almost deaf and blind senior dog. The animals and volunteers of TARA are beyond grateful for the effort that Subaru and Cross Creek Subaru put into this event. We are already looking forward to next year.

Thanks to Subaru Cross Creek for raising awareness of Shelter pets in need of adoption and collecting donations all month long. The pets and staff here at the Cumberland County Animal Services are truly thankful. Thanks for the food, toys and showing love to our adoptable pets.

Cross Creek Subaru of Fayetteville, North Carolina impacted the lives of hundreds of military families as sponsors for the 2022 RHF Ninja Obstacle Course! Cross Creek Subaru sits in the middle of our All American City of Fayetteville, adjacent to Fort Bragg, largest military installation in the world. Ft. Bragg Soldiers and their families are constantly impacted by the operational tempo of the military mission. The Rick Herrema Foundation is a military non-profit with a mission to strengthen these families and build community through fun, quality outdoor activities. The generous donation given by Cross Creek Subaru to sponsor our obstacle course helped us meet that mission over a course of three weeks allowing hundreds of families to attend this unique and fun event for free. Memories were made, families were connected and community was built as each family came to our outdoor park and met one another. We are forever grateful to the leadership at Cross Creek Subaru and their sponsorship! We salute Subaru for their Subaru Love Promise.

Cross Creek Subaru was able to partner with Warrenwood Elementary School for Subaru Loves Learning 2022. Warrenwood Elementary received $5,000 to split amongst 10 teachers and classrooms. Teachers also received notes of encouragement from the customers and staff at Cross Creek Subaru. We are very grateful for the partnership with Cross Creek Subaru and the impact they have made this school year! Thank you very much!

Cross Creek Subaru sets a high bar for customer service and satisfaction in their service department. Yesterday, Maclovia Carillo provided the best service I’ve ever experienced in all my life - no joke! She made me feel like I was THE most important customer to date. The service department team is a well oiled machine from Damien who worked on my car to the lead technician Phil. I was blown away by the whole experience.
Ben C.
Top Notch Customer service. I know military towns get a bad rap for being money-gouging or fixing things not needed but that was NOT my experience at Cross Creek Subaru. Our technician (Kyle-I believe) took care to explain in detail the process to fix my Outback. He was very professional, courteous, and had an exceptionally clean and organized workstation. The customer care team, especially Gigi, was attentive to my family's needs, and all with a very cheery disposition. 10/10. I feel 100% confident in their service and work ethic.

Cross Creek Subaru has once again partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), North Carolina Chapter. They delivered warm blankets, kid's craft kits and messages of hope from Subaru customers to cancer patients at Cape Fear Valley Cancer Treatment Center. Thank you all for making a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients and bringing a ray of hope, love and warmth to those that need it most.

In 2022 so far, Cross Creek Subaru has returned five boxes of plastic straws, creamer capsules, coffee capsules, cups, snack wrappers, and candy wrappers to TerraCycle! As a part of the Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, the accumulated waste streams will be turned into useful, high-quality recycled products, like park benches, picnic tables, and playground materials.

Cross Creek Subaru has partnered with Lucile Souders Elementary School for many years. They have helped to support the school in various ways. In May of 2022 they have once again provided a valuable contribution to help the students and faculty of Lucile Souders Elementary School. We are so grateful for their continued support! Thank you, Cross Creek Subaru!

I came to this dealership for routine maintenance and had an excellent experience. I was impressed by their express lane which allowed me to show up whenever I decided to in order to get it done. I have never seen this before at a dealership and was impressed by how quickly they completed the service. The person receiving my car was extremely nice and clearly reviewed my options before accepting my car and even followed up with any items that mechanics recommended, I consider. This is a new car, and I usually don't mind paying a little extra going to a dealership to ensure the most knowledgeable people work on my car. I was impressed that the price was compatible with going to almost any other shop for routine service. I have no doubt I'll be back for future service.
Paul K.
By far the best experience I’ve ever encountered purchasing a new vehicle. My sales lady Marley was awesome. She was very patient with all my questions and concerns. The sales managers John, Jason, and the F&I manager Corey were all very transparent and communicative. The owner Sam Johnson Jr. who I met was also involved in my dealings. I’ve never ever been treated with the respect and care I received from this dealership!

The Child Advocacy Center in Cumberland County is so thankful to the entire staff at Cross Creek Subaru for going the extra mile during this past year to raise funds for our Center during the Share the Love event. The donation received will go a long way in assisting us in bringing help, hope and healing to so many children that have been impacted by abuse. As one child stated: "When I first came to the CAC I was scared and the people there made me feel brave, happy and what I like best at the CAC is making friends and laughing now. I feel happy and less nervous. Thank you." It is through your generosity and belief in our work that we are making significant changes to children's lives and working to educate the community on how to recognize and respond appropriately to child abuse when suspected, assisting families to get the help they need much sooner in the process. From another child: "My advice to anybody that experience the same thing or go through something similar is to use your voice, speak up, don't be afraid. Find someone you can talk to and just speak up, so the same thing doesn't continue to happen to you. And if you feel like you can't talk about it, write about it." From the initial forensic interview, victim advocacy and mental health therapy your financial contribution helps us provide the necessary resources to give children a voice. Thank you again for selecting us to be a part of your Cross Creek Subaru family. Roberta Humphries, Executive Director

On Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in the early evening, our 2017 Subaru Forester XT became disabled on I95, at exit 190 SC on our way to New Jersey. The vehicle was making a loud metallic sound when driven. I called Subaru Roadside who sent a tow service and gave me the number to your Dealership, the closest one, 62 miles away. I called and spoke to Gigi Greenfield advising her that our vehicle was being towed to your Dealership in hopes of repairs. Ms. Greenfield was the most caring and understanding Service Advisor I have ever dealt with in all my years. She assured me that your Service Department would do everything to make this as easy as possible. The next morning I arrived at the Dealership from our nearby hotel and as I walked towards the service department I saw that our vehicle was second in line to get into the shop. Knowing how busy things are today with auto repairs I was truly astounded. I was then greeted with a cheerful smile from Ms. Greenfield who said a Service Technician who be checking my car immediately and to have a seat in the waiting area. Again, I was amazed. Within an hour Service Technician Timothy Pope reported the results to Ms. Greenfield who told me the extent of the damage and that she had checked on my extended warranty and that I was covered. She did this with the most caring tone and that, along with the repair news, made me smile. She again directed me to the waiting area where, less that three hours later, our car was repaired. Through the service waiting area window I could see that Service Technician Timothy Pope worked continuously on our vehicle then test drove it. Ms. Greenfield again cheerfully escorted me to the Service Office to complete the paperwork and incredibly, I was on my way in less than four hours. Another young Lady Service Writer in the office engaged me in cheerful conversation which was also appreciated. I have owned four Subarus and over twenty cars in my life and have dealt with Service Advisors many times over the years. I will tell you that your Dealership is extremely fortunate to have someone such as Gigi Greenfield dealing with your customers daily and a Service Technician as through and dedicated as Timothy Pope. I will be forwarding a copy of this communication to Subaru Corporation advising them of my complete satisfaction with your Service Department. I have also told my sister-in-law who retired after 30 years from Subaru HQ Cherry Hill New Jersey. If you would, could you please pass this on to their immediate Supervisor(s). Again, your Service Department, and in particular, these individuals, are to be commended.

Teachers will be able to purchase educational support items for students to use. We are grateful to Cross Creek Subaru for their continued support in education and to Anne Chestnut Middle School. Thank you!

For the past 5 years the volunteers of Tilted Acres Rescue and Adoptions (TARA) have looked forward to the month of October because that means it is time for partnering with Subaru and Cross Creek Subaru for the Subaru Loves Pets adoption event. Each year has been more fantastic than the one before. John, the General Sales Manager, and Olivia, our Ambassador, have been wonderful to work with and each year at least 20 dogs and cats find forever homes but there is more to it than just the event. The entire month is devoted to animal adoptions and special attention is given to the underdogs, the ones with disabilities, the seniors and the ones that have been in rescue for a very long time. We would like to thank them for sharing the love and helping so many. #SubaruLovesPets #MakeADogsDay

The Child Advocacy Center of Fayetteville is incredibly thankful for the partnership with Cross Creek Subaru and the Subaru Share the Love event. The past year has been challenging for many, but the Subaru Share the Love event has provided an incredible opportunity and financial support to the Child Advocacy Center, especially since the CAC had to cancel two of their signature fundraising events. The demand for the services of the Child Advocacy Center has increased over the past fiscal year by 20% and now that students have been back in school, we have seen an increase in referred cases by 7%, a 9% increase in forensic interviews conducted and a 18% increase in counseling clients served. (For the time period of March 13-May 13 2020 compared to 2021.) For the fiscal year ending 2020, there were 876 cases of reported child abuse referred to the CAC. 459 mental health therapy sessions were provided to 74 child abuse victims. 494 forensic interviews were conducted at the center, a 22% increase over the previous year. The donation from the Subaru Share the Love event will have a significant impact on the Child Advocacy Center in being able to continue their mission to collaborate with community partners to prevent child abuse. We are forever thankful for this campaign and partnership and we will continue to provide hope and healing to many children and their families.

Through the Subaru Love Promise, Subaru and its retailers will be donating 50,000 blankets to nearly 600 local homeless shelters across the country in recognition of National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. More than 500,000 Americans experience homelessness each night. As we enter winter with colder nights ahead, staying warm is more important and challenging than ever for the homeless. Cross Creek Subaru had the opportunity to partner with Manna Church and the Manna Dream Center to help people in need this winter. We were able to donate 80 fleece blankets to help the homeless in our Fayetteville community! We hope these blankets will make a big impact on the wellbeing of those less fortunate this winter. #SubaruLovesToHelp #SubaruRetailersLoveToHelp

The month of October is #SubaruLovesPetsMonth and it is near and dear to our hearts. We are accepting donations for Cumberland County Animal Shelter till October 31st, and we hosted our 4th Annual Pet Adoption. On October 17th we had the honor of partnering with Tilted Acres Rescue and Adoption for our Pet Adoption Event. Our goal was to get 20 total adoptions, and we ended the day with 16 dogs were adopted and 6 cats were adopted! We had a Live Remote with Q98, food, and our #CrossCreekSubaruFamily grew! Our goal for adoptions was met, now we need help to fill an Ascent in our showroom with pet supply donations! Please bring donations to Cross Creek Subaru till October 31st! The Child Advocacy Center so appreciates Cross Creek Subaru for their generous donation to enable us to continue to provide Mental Health Counseling services to child victims of abuse. These past months we have experienced an increase in the number of families requesting services and thanks to the generous support of Cross Creek Subaru we were able to expand our counseling slots by 55%. One of the programs offered is group therapy. Following are comments from 2 of the girls that attend Girl's Counseling Group. "This group has helped me gain confidence. The stories of the other girls' struggles helped me see that not everything is bad. Seeing how they come from rough backgrounds and seeing them gain confidence makes me happy. Without group I think I'd have a much harder time with my mental health." "Coming to this group has made me think about the other people that have had or still have problems that they have to deal with. This group has given me the courage to speak out much louder about any type of abuse. Without this group I think I might not be able to cope with the difficulties of my life." Thank you for enabling us to bring help, hope and healing to so many children each year. Roberta Humphries, Executive Director Child Advocacy Center

The Friends of the Cumberland County Animal Shelter would like to send a big four-paw salute to Cross Creek Subaru of Fayetteville for being a furrriend to homeless animals of our county. Tails were wagging throughout the entire shelter when they pulled that new Subaru SUV filled with food and treats up to our door to deliver their kind and most generous donation. The shelter animals Thank You from their noses to the tips of their tails (and of course, we thank you too).

We are so grateful to Cross Creek Subaru for choosing the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) as the local charity of choice for the 2018 Share the Love campaign. Cross Creek Subaru’s generous donation of $27,875 makes it one of the CAC’s top five funders! Each year the Child Advocacy Center helps 700 child victims of abuse right here in Fayetteville, NC. One of the services we provide at the center is mental health treatment for the child abuse victims. During these individual and group sessions, the children begin the process of healing from the trauma they have endured. With the contribution from the 2018 Share the Love campaign, we can provide more than 270 counseling sessions. One of our children recently wrote about her group counseling: “What I learned in this group is to always be positive, never let people bring you down.” Thank you, Cross Creek Subaru, for partnering with us to make a positive impact on these most vulnerable children!

We want to thank all the employees of Cross Creek Subaru who came out and volunteered and worked so hard to make this event such a success. Brittany worked with our animal rescue organization, Tilted Acres Rescue and Adoptions (TARA) to help over 20 dogs and cats that were pulled out of local shelters find loving forever homes. This was our second year doing this event and we are very grateful for the opportunity to do so. We hope this can be an annual thing because it is a great opportunity for the animals.

For the third year in a row, Cross Creek Subaru, partnering with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), North Carolina Chapter, delivered warm blankets, kid's craft kits and messages of hope from Subaru customers to cancer patients at Cape Fear Valley Cancer Treatment Center. Part of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, this program is one of the favorites of the dealership and hospital alike. This year, 2 special volunteers representing LLS were part of the delivery. Wyatt Jenkins and Andrea Kisbaugh attended the event because they have a very personal connection to blood cancer. Andrea's son, Ryan Patrick, died in 2003 of complications from his bone marrow transplant aimed to treat his non Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosis. He was just 19 years old. Wyatt and Ryan's father, Dr. David Kisbaugh created an annual memorial golf tournament in honor of Ryan with proceeds benefiting LLS NC. The Kishbaughs and Wyatt believe in the mission of LLS- to create a world without blood cancer- and wanted to show their appreciation to Cross Creek Subaru for their support of the NC chapter of LLS. Thank you all for making a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients and bringing a ray of hope, love and warmth to those that need it most.

Cross Creek Subaru delivered trunk loads of warm blankets and lunch boxes full of craft supplies to the Cape Fear Cancer Treatment Center is Fayettville with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. These goodies were delivered to patients and children in the oncology unit of the hospital. Being able to partner with such a compassionate and giving company for the past 2 years has been so impactful on the local cancer community. The ability to deliver treats that bring a smile to someone who is going through such a difficult time is a truly rewarding experience and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is extremely thankful for all the continual support from Cross Creek Subaru.

What a wonderful surprise to receive the generous donation from Subaru's 2014 Share the Love event! We are so grateful for the contribution in the amount of $15,248! We were honored to be nominated by Cross Creek Subaru as its local charity, and we never expected such a large gift! Last year, we served 616 children, and with these funds, we will continue to be a place of healing and hope for child victims of abuse in our community. Thank you, Subaru! We LOVE you!
Did Cross Creek Subaru go above and beyond, provide exceptional service, or support causes that are important to you? We'd love to hear about it.
